/ Technical Skills

- Knowledge of export documentation such as commercial invoice, packing list, export value declaration, LUT, end-use details and SCOMET / non-SCOMET declarations, as applicable.
- Working knowledge of shipping-line booking processes, SI cut-offs, BL drafts, VGM, Form 13, ODEX and port-in processes, based on applicable procedures.
- Ability to compare sea / air freight rates, local charges and surcharges; calculate buy / sell costs and understand shipment-level profitability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email, shipment trackers and logistics / freight-forwarding systems such as Logisys or equivalent.
- Robust written and verbal communication, numerical accuracy, documentation discipline and ability to manage multiple shipments and cut-off times simultaneously.
