Role Description Skills:

- Multi-Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, Optimizing and governing secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments.
- The role will provide technical leadership across cloud architecture, migration, networking, security, automation, platform engineering, observability, disaster recovery, and cloud governance.
- The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, and cloud engineering teams to translate business requirements into practical and scalable cloud solutions.

Desired Experience

- 15+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud technologies, with significant experience in cloud architecture. Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud environments.
- Experience leading large-scale cloud migration and transformation programs. Experience working with multiple cloud providers and hybrid environments. Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
- Cloud Architecture & Design Design scalable, secure, highly available multi-cloud architectures. Define cloud adoption and modernization strategies. Develop HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, and technical design documents.
- Select the right cloud platform based on workload, performance, security, compliance, and cost requirements. Establish architecture standards and reusable reference architectures. Design hybrid-cloud and multi-region solutions.
- Cloud Migration & Modernization Assess existing applications and infrastructure for cloud readiness. Define migration strategies such as Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Repurchase, Retire, and Retain.
- Develop migration roadmaps, sequencing, dependencies, and cutover plans.



Lead large-scale infrastructure and application migrations.
- Support application modernization using containers, Kubernetes, PaaS, and serverless technologies. Ensure migration activities meet timeline, availability, and business objectives.
- Networking Design enterprise cloud networking across Azure, AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments.
- Define hub-and-spoke, transit, and shared-services architectures. Design VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Cloud Interconnect, SD-WAN, and private connectivity.
- Establish network segmentation, routing, DNS, load balancing, and firewall standards. Ensure secure connectivity between applications, data centers, and cloud platforms.
- Security & Identity Define cloud security architecture and security controls. Design IAM, RBAC, SSO, federation, and privileged-access solutions. Implement Zero Trust principles.
- Define encryption, key management, secrets management, and certificate strategies. Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements. Work with security teams on vulnerability management and cloud security posture.
- Infrastructure as Code & Automation Establish Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform/Terragrunt, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation, etc.
- Design reusable modules and automation frameworks. Integrate infrastructure deployment with CI/CD pipelines. Implement automated provisioning, configuration, compliance, and remediation. Promote DevSecOps and Policy-as-Code practices.
- Kubernetes & Platform Architecture Design and govern AKS, EKS, and GKE platforms.
- Define container platform standards and operating models. Establish cluster security, networking, scaling, monitoring, and backup strategies. Support microservices and cloud-native application architectures.
- Resilience,



DR & Business Continuity Define HA and DR architectures across regions and cloud platforms.
- Establish RTO/RPO requirements. Design backup, replication, failover, and recovery strategies. Conduct DR testing and architecture reviews. Identify and mitigate single points of failure.
- Cloud Governance & Standards Establish enterprise cloud governance frameworks. Define landing-zone standards and guardrails.
- Implement policies for security, networking, identity, resource deployment, and compliance. Establish naming, tagging, subscription/account/project and resource standards. Conduct architecture governance and design reviews.
- FinOps & Cost Optimization Design cost-effective cloud architectures.
- Analyze cloud consumption and identify optimization opportunities.
- Implement tagging, chargeback/showback, budgets, and cost controls. Evaluate Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, commitments, and licensing optimization.
- Balance cost, performance, reliability, and security.
- Observability & Operations Define enterprise monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability standards.
- Integrate platforms such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Google Cloud Operations, Datadog, and Splunk.
- Establish operational dashboards and SRE practices. Define incident, problem, capacity, and performance management processes.
- Ensure solutions are operationally ready before production deployment.
- Technical Leadership Lead architecture discussions with engineering, security, networking, application, and operations teams.
- Mentor cloud engineers and technical leads. Review technical solutions and provide architectural guidance. Drive PoCs and technology evaluations. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and remediation plans.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management Engage directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Present architecture proposals, roadmaps, risks, and recommendations.
- Lead architecture workshops and technical governance meetings. Manage technical escalations and provide strategic recommendations.
