Role Summary

Seeking an Embedded Linux Developer with strong hands-on experience in C++, Embedded Linux, and Yocto-based development on embedded hardware platforms. The candidate should have experience in Linux distribution customization, character device drivers, multithreading, industrial communication protocols, and IoT/cloud connectivity.

Must-Have Skills

1. Embedded Linux Development

? Strong hands-on experience in Embedded Linux application development.

? Practical project experience on embedded Linux hardware platforms.

? Experience with Linux system configuration, application integration, and debugging.

? Understanding of Linux system architecture, processes, memory management, and inter-process communication (IPC).

? Experience with system bring-up, hardware integration, and troubleshooting.

2. C++ Programming

? Solid proficiency in C++ programming for embedded applications.

? Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

? Experience implementing software design patterns.

? Knowledge of memory management, pointers, references, and resource management.

? Experience with multithreaded programming and thread synchronization.

? Ability to develop reliable, efficient, and maintainable embedded software.

3. Yocto Project

? Hands-on experience building and customizing Embedded Linux distributions using the Yocto Project.

? Experience creating and maintaining Yocto recipes.

? Understanding of BitBake, layers, configuration files, and build processes.

? Experience integrating applications, libraries, and packages into custom Linux images.

? Ability to troubleshoot Yocto build issues and manage software dependencies.

? Experience with Linux character device driver development or integration.

? Understanding of Linux kernel and user-space interaction.
