Role Description This is a full-time, on-site MEP (Freshers) role based in Chennai. The role involves supporting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design activities, preparing basic layouts and drawings under guidance, and assisting senior engineers with project documentation and coordination. Day-to-day tasks include working with CAD tools to develop and update drawings, performing simple calculations, and helping ensure designs comply with relevant standards and client requirements.

The MEP fresher will collaborate with project teams,



attend site visits when required, and contribute to resolving technical queries and design adjustments. The position offers hands-on learning and exposure to real-world building services projects in a structured engineering workplace.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret technical data, perform basic engineering calculations, and support problem-solving in MEP design.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering knowledge with a fundamental understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical building services concepts.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills to create, modify, and review engineering drawings and layouts.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow engineering standards, and pay close attention to detail in drawings and documentation.
- Basic understanding of MEP codes and practices and familiarity with MS Office tools; internship or academic project experience in MEP is an advantage.
