- Vendor Development:

Identify, audit, and qualify recent suppliers for mechanical items such as sheet metal, plastics, castings, machining, pumps, valves, and structural assemblies. [1]

- RFQ &

- Technical Evaluation:

Release Requests for Quotations (RFQs), review engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T;, and prepare Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE/TQ) alongside design teams. [1]

- Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, warranties, and annual rate contracts with vendors. [1]

- Purchase Order (PO) Management: Issue POs in ERP/SAP systems, track manufacturing progress, expedite critical/long-lead items, and manage dispatch and logistics. [1]

- Quality &

- Compliance:

Coordinate incoming quality inspection (IQ/GRN),



stage inspections at vendor works, and handle Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). [1]

- Cost Reduction &

- Risk Mitigation:

Drive continuous cost-down initiatives and develop alternate secondary vendors to prevent supply chain bottlenecks
