As a Reltio MDM Architect, you’ll be leading the architecture, design, implementation, modernization, and migration of enterprise Master Data Management solutions using the Reltio Intelligent Data Cloud platform. Overall, you’ll be responsible for defining the MDM architecture, designing scalable and reusable data models, configuring match and merge rules, establishing data governance processes, and integrating Reltio with enterprise source and consuming systems.

The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, data governance teams, data stewards, enterprise architects, and engineering teams to deliver trusted, high-quality master data across the organization.

The role also involves modernizing legacy MDM platforms, migrating existing master data solutions to Reltio, and ensuring that the solution meets enterprise standards for security, scalability, performance, and data quality.

- Define end-to-end Reltio MDM solution architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise data strategy.
- Design domain-oriented MDM solutions covering Customer, HCP/HCO, Product, Vendor, Supplier, and other master data domains.
- Define the appropriate MDM implementation approach, including consolidation, coexistence, and transactional or operational MDM patterns.
- Design enterprise data models, entity relationships, crosswalks, hierarchies, relationships, and reference data structures.
- Establish architectural standards, reusable design patterns, and best practices for MDM implementations.
- Evaluate architectural trade-offs involving data ownership, survivorship, source systems, latency, and downstream consumption.
- Design and govern Reltio L3 data models, attributes, relationships, interaction models, and entity configurations.
- Define match rules, match groups, match tokens, thresholds, and merge strategies to improve duplicate detection and entity resolution.
- Design survivorship rules, source trust, attribute-level survivorship,



and cross-source reconciliation strategies.
- Configure data validation, cleansing, standardization, reference data, and enrichment capabilities.
- Design workflows for data change requests (DCR), stewardship, approvals, and exception management.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on configuration, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Assess existing MDM implementations, data models, business rules, integrations, and operational processes.
- Develop migration strategies from legacy platforms such as SQL Server-based MDM, Microsoft Master Data Services (MDS), and other enterprise MDM solutions to Reltio.
- Define source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, data cleansing, deduplication, and migration reconciliation.
- Plan historical data migration, crosswalk preservation, relationship migration, and reference data migration.
- Design migration rehearsals, mock loads, cutover, rollback, and post-migration validation.
- Translate enterprise data governance policies into implementable MDM architecture and controls.
- Define data ownership, stewardship responsibilities, business glossaries, and critical data elements in collaboration with governance teams.
- Define KPIs for duplicate rates, match precision and recall, completeness, accuracy, and survivorship effectiveness.
- Establish setting strategy across development, testing, UAT, and production.
- Define deployment, configuration promotion, version control, release management, and rollback approaches.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, incident management, and operational support procedures
- Mentor developers, technical leads, data engineers, and MDM consultants.
- Review solution designs, configuration, integration specifications, and technical deliverables.
- Manage technical risks, architectural decisions, dependencies, and non-functional requirements.
- Provide estimates, implementation roadmaps, delivery recommendations, and technical direction to project teams.
