Role & responsibilities

- Handle international business leads related to Coco Coir, Coco Peat and related products.
- Contact and engage with prospective international customers through email, telephone, WhatsApp, video calls and online meetings.
- Understand the customer's product requirement, specifications, quantity, quality expectations and commercial requirements.
- Develop the prospective customer relationship from initial enquiry to first order confirmation.
- Provide product and commercial information required to progress the enquiry.
- Coordinate internally for preparing suitable quotations / commercial offers.
- Conduct regular and structured follow-up with prospective customers.
- Handle commercial discussions and negotiate with customers within approved company guidelines.
- Understand customer objections and address concerns effectively to improve conversion chances.
- Drive each qualified lead towards successful first-order conversion.
- Maintain a clear lead pipeline and provide regular updates on lead status and conversion potential.
- Identify the right decision-makers and maintain communication until the business opportunity is converted.
- Build confidence and trust with new international customers during the pre-order stage.
- Once the first order is confirmed, ensure a proper customer handover to the Traders Team with all relevant customer and business details.
- Focus continuously on identifying and converting new business opportunities.
