ABOUT AUGSENSELABAugsenselab is a research-driven deep-tech company developing advanced RF, atomic and quantum sensing technologies for defence, aerospace, space and climate applications.

THE ROLEBuild and own Augsenselab’s finance function, with hands-on responsibility for financial systems, accounting, internal controls, budgeting, cash flow, statutory compliance and management reporting. This is a financial controllership role—not a general corporate affairs or investor-relations position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Finance systems & controls: Lead Odoo finance implementation and adoption; establish chart of accounts, cost centres, approval workflows, SOPs, reconciliations and payment controls.

- Accounting & financial close: Own books of account, monthly closing, balance sheet and P&L; accuracy, fixed assets, inventory and appropriate R&D;/project cost accounting; supervise the accountant.
- Budgeting & cash management: Prepare operating budgets, rolling cash-flow forecasts, runway reports, budget-versus-actual reviews and programme-wise expenditure tracking.
- MIS & financial planning: Deliver timely monthly MIS, management dashboards, financial analyses, forecasts and reliable inputs for Board and investor reporting.
- Audit, taxation & compliance: Own GST, TDS,



income-tax and other applicable finance compliance; lead audit readiness and work with external auditors, the CS and legal advisers on finance-related matters.
- Funding & project finance: Validate DPR and grant budgets, track eligible expenditure and utilisation, prepare supporting financial schedules and certifications through authorised professionals.
- Investor financial due diligence: Own financial data accuracy, reconciliations, schedules and responses; work with the Founder’s Office on document requests and transaction follow-through.

CANDIDATE PROFILE• Mandatory: Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/FCA), preferably with 3–7 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

- Core skills: Hands-on accounting, controllership, financial reporting, statutory compliance, cash management, process design and strong Excel skills.
- Preferred: Experience building finance processes in startups, technology/R&D; or manufacturing companies; Odoo/ERP, project accounting, grants and investor due diligence exposure.
