Manager / Deputy Manager - Accounts required for our Client in Chennai who are in Service Industry.

Role & responsibilities

- To take care of end-to-end Accounting Functions of the Company and take total responsibility for the Accounting Functions, Preparation of Financial Statements under Indian Accounting Standards (IND- AS).
- To ensure Compliance with Accounting Standards and maintenance of records including Fixed Assets Register
- To ensure Pay Roll function is carried out effectively and ensuring remittance of PF and ESI on time
- To furnish details and information as may be required by Holding Company from time to time
- To prepare and maintain cost records Project cost sheet in respect of various mandates undertaken by the Company
- To compute Employees tax liability and ensure compliance under Income Tax Law
- Prepare and maintain statutory records and books. Act as a Custodian of all statutory books records and registers under the Companies Act 2013

- To supervise the work done by junior accounting staff
- To monitor the Receivables position and analyse receivables age wise,



to ensure confirmation of balances are obtained from Debtors, Creditors, Banks and Loan Creditors
- To Co-ordinate with Statutory and Internal Auditors and ensure timely completion of Audit
- To prepare memo of income tax and computation of Book Profits under Section 206 of Income-Tax Act, 2025 wherever applicable
- To ensure E filing of Quarterly TDS Returns
- To maintain Income tax files and to coordinate with Advocates/Auditors for Income Tax and Appeal matters
- To ensure proper documentation and compliance with Goods and Service Tax Act (GST)
- To devise appropriate internal financial controls and ensure its effective functioning in coordination with CEO and CFO
- To coordinate with banks for issue of Bank Guarantee
- To handle any other assignments as may be assigned by the HOD/Management from time to time.

Preferred candidate profile Chartered Accountant with 3 + Years of Experience /

M COM with First Class under Regular Course with 15 years of Experience /

CA Inter with 10 years of Experience
