Position Title: Maintenance Manager / Maintenance In-Charge

Department: Engineering / Maintenance

Reports To: Plant Head / General Manager (Technical)

Location: Neemrana, Rajasthan

Job Purpose

To ensure the smooth, safe, and effective operation of all machinery and utilities in a technical textile manufacturing unit. The Maintenance In-Charge will lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities; coordinate with production teams; maintain high machine uptime; and implement continuous improvements.

Machines Under Maintenance Scope

The Maintenance In-Charge will be responsible for complete maintenance (Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown) of following machines:

1. Thermopac Boiler / Thermopac

2. Stenter Machine

3. Jet Jigger Machine
4. ETP & RO Plant
5. Chemical Department - Mixing Machine, Grinder

6. Slitting Machine
7. Electrical Panel - HT/LT, PLC Panel, Drive Panel

8. Air jet Loom Machine

9. Jacquard Machine

10. Alfa Sampling Machine

11. Super Excel Machine

12. Warping Machine
13. Rewinding & Punching Machine

Key Responsibilities
1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

- Prepare and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all 13 machines listed above.
- Ensure regular inspection, lubrication, calibration, and servicing of Thermo Boiler, Stenter, Jet Jigger, ETP/RO, Airjet, Jacquard etc. as per OEM guidelines.
- Establish predictive maintenance systems to identify early warning signs of failure.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure compliance with scheduled activities.

1. Breakdown Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Lead troubleshooting and quick rectification of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns for all machines under scope.
- Ensure minimal downtime through prompt diagnosis for Airjet, Jacquard, Alfa, Warping, Rewinding machines.




- Coordinate with OEM technicians and suppliers for complex repairs.
- Analyze recurring faults and implement permanent corrective solutions.

1. Machine Installation, Commissioning & Upgradation

- Supervise installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machines from the list.
- Participate in technology upgradation projects and machine modifications to improve productivity.
- Ensure proper documentation and machine manuals are updated.

1. Spares & Inventory Management

- Identify and maintain optimum stock of critical spare parts and consumables for all 13 machines to avoid stoppages.
- Establish spare parts database with supplier details and consumption patterns for Chemical Mixing, Grinder, Panels etc.
- Work with the purchase department for cost-effective procurement.

1. Team Leadership & Training

- Supervise the team of fitters, electricians, technicians, and operators across all shifts.
- Assign and monitor tasks for smooth execution of maintenance activities.
- Conduct skill development programs for technicians on safety practices and troubleshooting of above machines.

1. Utility & Facility Maintenance

- Oversee maintenance of Thermo Boiler, ETP & RO Plant, Electrical Panels, compressors, generators.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of utilities to production departments.
- Monitor energy consumption and efficiency of utilities.

1. Documentation, Compliance & Safety

- Maintain detailed records of machine history, maintenance reports, calibration data,



and downtime analysis for all machines.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on machine availability, maintenance cost, and performance.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures, lock-out/tag-out systems, and regulatory standards.

1. SOP Development & Implementation

- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all 13 machines.
- Review and update SOPs periodically.

1. Coordination & Communication

- Liaise with production, quality, and technical departments to plan machine availability and maintenance schedules.
- Provide technical support during trials and new product developments.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Textile Engineering.
- Minimum 7–12 years of experience in maintenance within a textile plant.
- Must have hands-on experience with Thermo Boiler, Stenter, Jet Jigger, ETP/RO, Airjet, Jacquard, Warping, Slitting.
- Hands-on experience in PLC-based automation, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drives, and sensors.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance software (CMMS) preferred.

Key Competencies & Skills:
- Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance of above textile machines.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of utility systems (Thermopac Boiler, ETP, RO, Panels).
- Good leadership and team coordination abilities.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Machine uptime percentage for all 13 machines.
- MTBF and MTTR.
- Adherence to preventive maintenance schedule.
- Reduction in unplanned breakdowns.
- Maintenance cost per machine hour.
- Safety performance - zero accidents.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
