Job Summary The Solar Project Liaison Engineer is responsible for coordinating between clients, contractors, government authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of solar power projects. The role involves obtaining necessary approvals, ensuring regulatory compliance, facilitating communication, and supporting technical and administrative project activities.

Key Responsibilities :

ü Act as the primary point of contact between the company and external stakeholders such as DISCOMs, SLDC, state nodal agencies, and government departments.

ü Liaise with utility companies for net metering, grid connectivity, and energy settlement approvals.

ü Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission of technical drawings, documents, and permits.

ü Track and follow up on application statuses (TFR, CEIG, Metering, Synchronization, etc.).





ü Attend site inspections and meetings with authorities for approvals and certifications.

ü Ensure compliance with state and central solar policy guidelines.

ü Maintain accurate records of all communications, permissions, and compliance documentation.

ü Support procurement and logistics teams with liaison inputs for project execution planning.

ü Provide updates to internal stakeholders regarding approval timelines and project dependencies.
