Role: SAP FICO Lead Consultant
Location: Pune (Hinjewadi Phase 1)
Work Mode: 5 Days from Office
Work Time: 6:30 AM IST to 3:30 PM IST

Primary Purpose- The SAP FICO Consultant will be responsible for providing Application Management Support (AMS) for SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The role involves incident resolution, system enhancements, configuration support, and business process optimization to ensure stable and efficient SAP financial operations.
Responsibilities –
1. AMS Support & Incident Management
- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 support for SAP FICO related incidents and service requests.
- Analyze and resolve production issues related to FI and CO modules within SLA timelines.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Monitor system performance and ensure stability of SAP finance processes.
2. SAP FICO Configuration & Maintenance
- Configure and maintain SAP FI modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Support SAP CO modules including:
- Cost Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Profit Center Accounting
- Product Costing (basic level)
3. Change Requests & Enhancements
- Work on minor enhancements and change requests based on business requirements.
- Perform configuration changes, testing,
and documentation.
- Support transport management and release activities.
4. Business User Support
- Interact with business users to understand issues and provide functional solutions.
- Provide functional guidance and training to end users.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
5. Integration Support
- Coordinate with other SAP modules such as:
- MM (Materials Management)
- SD (Sales & Distribution)
- Ensure proper integration with finance postings and controlling processes.
6. Testing & Documentation
- Prepare Functional Specifications for developments (RICEF objects).
- Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT support.
- Maintain process documentation, configuration documents, and knowledge base.
Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA).
- Basic understanding of SAP CO components.
- Experience in AMS support environment.
- Knowledge of incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
- Understanding of SAP financial closing processes.
- Familiarity with IDocs, interfaces, and integration points.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
