Core Responsibilities :

- Lead the AI and Software Engineering team in Hyderabad.
- Serve as the primary AI engineering leader in India.
- Partner with stakeholders to define business solutions.
- Deliver AI applications from concept to production.
- Manage delivery plans, dependencies, and risks.
- Establish architecture and engineering standards.
- Contribute directly to design, coding, and troubleshooting.

Strategic Responsibilities :

- Define the technical direction for AI applications.
- Guide architecture, integration, and orchestration decisions.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy technology options.
- Partner with Data and Platform Engineering leaders.
- Drive continuous improvement across the AI portfolio.
- Evaluate emerging AI engineering practices.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly.

Team & Collaboration :

- Mentor engineers and support technical growth.
- Review designs and code for quality and consistency.
- Coordinate delivery across engineering teams.
- Communicate technical risks and decisions clearly.
- Support operational readiness and production adoption.
- Build a team-oriented and accountable engineering culture.

Experience, Education &

Certifications :





- MBA from tier 1 college.
- 12 years of software, data, application, or AI engineering experience.
- 5 years leading technical direction for complex initiatives.
- Experience delivering enterprise applications end-to-end.
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering efforts.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers.
- Financial services experience preferred.

Tech Stack :

- Expert Python programming skills.
- API and distributed service design expertise.
- Modern web application development knowledge.
- Production AI and generative AI solutions.
- Expertise in RAG, agents, embeddings, and tool integrations.
