– Lab Chemist (Rubber Products) Key Responsibilities:

- Develop rubber formulations independently based on customer specifications.
- Strong knowledge of NR, SBR, NBR, EPDM, Neoprene and other rubber polymers.
- Select appropriate raw materials, fillers, oils, accelerators and curing agents.
- Formulate compounds to achieve specified hardness, tensile strength, elongation and specific gravity.
- Optimise formulations to achieve desired properties at competitive costs.
- Conduct laboratory trials and analyse test results.
- Well versed with Mooney, Rheometer, Tensile, Hardness and Specific Gravity testing.
- Troubleshoot formulation and production-related quality issues.
- Support mixing, calendaring and Rotocure production processes.
- Maintain formulation records, test reports and technical data sheets.

Candidate Requirements

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry or Polymer Technology.
- Practical experience in rubber formulation and compounding.
- Must be capable of independently developing formulations when given technical specifications.
