About the Internship

Are you curious about events, research, business, urban development, and connecting with industry leaders ?

We are looking for a Research & Conference Outreach Intern to join the Municipalika 2026 team. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research, stakeholder outreach, conference planning, and speaker engagement .

You will work closely with the Conference and Event teams and play an key role in identifying and connecting with the right people for Municipalika 2026.

What You Will Do

- Research and identify potential conference speakers, government officials, industry experts, municipal leaders, delegates, and organisations .
- Support the Conference Team in identifying relevant speakers for different conference sessions .
- Research individuals and organisations and collect relevant contact details and background information .
- Assist with reaching out to potential speakers and participants through email and other communication channels .
- Follow up with contacts and track responses and engagement.
- Maintain and update Excel / Google Sheets databases and outreach trackers .
- Help prepare basic speaker profiles, research notes, and contact lists .




- Coordinate with the internal team and provide regular updates on outreach progress.
- Support the team with other research, coordination, and event-related activities .

- Good at searching for information online and identifying relevant people and organisations.
- Comfortable using Google, LinkedIn, Excel, and Google Sheets .
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised, curious, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Comfortable communicating with new people and conducting follow-ups.
- Interest in smart cities, urban development, infrastructure, sustainability, mobility, municipalities, or public policy is a plus.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
