Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, planning interior layouts, and selecting finishes, furniture, and fixtures for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing mood boards and presentations, coordinating with architects and contractors, producing detailed drawings and specifications, and ensuring design intent is maintained through project execution. The role also involves conducting site visits, measuring and documenting spaces,



sourcing materials, and supporting sustainable design choices aligned with Kishkindha Studios’ philosophy.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district, working closely with the studio’s design team and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Ability to develop interior concepts and layouts with robust skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and their integration with interior solutions.
- Proficiency in creating detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for implementation.
- Experience with FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, including client-facing collaboration.
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects in a studio environment.
- Interest in sustainable and environmentally conscious design practices.
