We are hiring a HR Manager - Operations (Payroll & HRMS) for a reputed pioneers in the jewellery industry , who are well-known for their high quality, reliability, and prompt customer service, based in Andheri East, Mumbai . Position: HR Manager – Operations (Payroll & HRMS)

Experience: 10–12 years of relevant HR Operations/Payroll experience, with at least 4–5 years of independently handling large-scale payroll.

Reporting To: Head – Human Resources & Chief Operating Officer

Role Objective To independently manage and oversee the complete payroll operations for approximately 3,500 employees, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant salary processing through SPINE HRMS.

The role will be responsible for end-to-end payroll management, including attendance integration, salary computation, statutory deductions, bonus, incentives, variable pay and other employee-related payments.

The key objective is to establish a robust, automated and error-free payroll process, ensuring 100% accuracy, statutory compliance, confidentiality and readiness for internal and external audits.

3. Educational Qualification & Experience

- Graduate in Commerce, Management or a related discipline.
- MBA / PG in HR or Finance will be an added advantage.
- 10–12 years of relevant HR Operations/Payroll experience,



with at least 4–5 years of independently handling large-scale payroll.
- Should have independently managed payroll operations for a large workforce, preferably 2,500–3,500+ employees.
- Strong hands-on experience in HRMS-based payroll processing.
- Experience in managing complex payroll structures, incentives, bonus and variable pay.

Technical & Functional Competencies Must-Have:

- Strong working knowledge of SPINE HRMS or equivalent payroll software.
- Knowledge of WDMS or similar attendance management systems.
- Experience in attendance and payroll system integration.
- Strong understanding of payroll statutory compliance.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including data validation, reconciliation and MIS reporting.
- Solid audit management and internal control capabilities.

Added Advantage:

- Knowledge of IT systems and payroll process automation.
- Experience in HRMS implementation, system configuration, integration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of database management, reporting tools and automated workflows.
- Experience in reducing manual payroll interventions through technology.

1. Zero-Error Payroll: 100% accuracy in monthly salary processing and disbursement.
2. Timely Payroll Closure: Payroll completed within the defined monthly payroll calendar.
3. Statutory Compliance: 100% adherence to applicable statutory requirements and deadlines.
4. Attendance Integration: Accurate and timely synchronisation between WDMS and SPINE HRMS.
5. Audit Compliance: Zero major audit observations and timely closure of audit findings.
6. Payroll Automation: Measurable reduction in manual interventions and repetitive activities.
7. Payroll Reconciliation: 100% reconciliation of payroll inputs, outputs and financial records.
8. Employee Service: Timely resolution of payroll-related queries and escalations.
