Krayr Media | Udaipur, Rajasthan | On-Site - Full time | 3-6 Years Experience
About Krayr Media
We are a full-service MarTech and branding and content agency working with 150+ brands across luxury hospitality, F&B;, Automobile, EdTech, D2C, real estate, event management, and lifestyle categories. Our work is built on tight, intentional craft: strategy, creative, and performance under one roof.
Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Manager to build and run the people function for a growing marketing agency. You will own hiring, onboarding, payroll coordination, performance reviews, compliance, and culture. Agency work moves fast and involves creative, strategy, and client servicing talent, so you will need to hire quickly without lowering the bar, and keep the team stable once they are in.
This is a build-from-scratch role, not a maintenance one. You will be setting up processes that do not exist yet, so we need someone comfortable creating structure rather than inheriting it.
Quick Reference
Experience
3 to 6 years in HR, preferably in an agency, startup, or services business
Tools
KEKA HRMS, Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Internshala, Google Workspace, Excel
Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Own the full hiring cycle for marketing, creative, content, and client servicing roles, from writing the JD to closing the offer.
- Build a ready pipeline through Naukri, LinkedIn, Internshala, college tie-ups, and referrals so roles do not start from zero each time.
- Screen candidates on skill and culture fit, coordinate interview panels, and keep hiring managers moving so good candidates do not go cold.
- Maintain a database of freelancers, interns,
and vendors the team can tap for overflow work.
Onboarding and Employee Lifecycle
- Run structured onboarding including documentation, system access, tool training, and a clear first 30 day plan for every new joiner.
- Manage confirmations, promotions, transfers, exits, and full and final settlements with proper documentation.
- Conduct exit interviews, identify why people leave, and report patterns to the founders instead of filing them away.
Performance and Development
- Set up and run a simple performance review cycle with clear KPIs defined alongside each department head.
- Track probation reviews, appraisals, and increment cycles on a fixed calendar.
- Identify skill gaps across the team and organise training, certifications, or internal knowledge sessions.
Payroll, Attendance and Compliance
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, reimbursements, and incentives, and work with accounts to process on time.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and statutory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian labour laws including PF, ESI, gratuity, POSH, and minimum wage requirements.
- Keep the leave policy, attendance system, and HR policy documents updated and communicated.
Culture and Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and resolve issues before they become exits.
- Plan team engagement activities, celebrations, and offsites that fit the agency and the budget.
- Run periodic feedback or pulse checks and share honest findings with the leadership team.
- Drive internal communication so policy changes, announcements, and wins actually reach the team.
HR Operations and Reporting
- Set up and maintain an HRMS so attendance, leaves, and documents are not managed on spreadsheets.
- Report monthly on headcount, open positions, time to hire, attrition, and cost per hire.
- Build and document HR SOPs, templates, and policies as the team scales.
What We Expect
- You can hire fast without compromising quality. Agency roles do not stay open for three months.
- You understand creative and marketing talent, what motivates them, and why they leave.
- You are comfortable having difficult conversations with employees and with founders.
- You are process-minded but practical. We need systems that get used, not policies that sit in a folder.
- You maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with maturity.
Qualifications
- Graduate or postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA in HR preferred.
- 3 to 6 years of HR experience with at least 2 years handling end to end recruitment.
- Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with an HRMS platform and job portals.
- Strong written and spoken communication in English and Hindi.
