Human Resources Manager, Mumbai

Going to School is hiring a Human Resources Manager in Mumbai. You will lead our Mumbai team and run HR operations across our programmes in Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Bihar and Jharkhand.

We make design-led stories that help young people stay in school and build sustainable enterprise skills. Students learn practical, future-ready skills and move into enterprises of their choice. Our work responds to two challenges at once: youth unemployment and climate change. We value creativity, purpose and measurable social impact.

The role is full-time and on-site at our office in Aram Nagar, Versova. Monday to Friday, five days a week.

You will run HR operations, onboarding, documentation and records for all five states. You will organise training and coordinate performance reviews. You will answer HR queries from the team.



You will maintain our HR policies and procedures and make sure we stay compliant. You will work with programme teams on recruitment, interviews and bringing recent people into the organisation. You will help build a workplace that is positive and inclusive.

You have strong skills in HR management and HR operations. You communicate clearly with employees, partners and people outside the organisation. You know how to organise training and capacity-building. You have worked in HR before and you are familiar with HRIS tools. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field is preferred.
