Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Housekeeping Supervisor role based in Tirunelveli.

The Housekeeping

Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, including room and common-area cleaning, linen and laundry management, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards. The role involves assigning tasks to housekeeping team members, monitoring performance, and conducting regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and service quality meet campus and institutional guidelines. The supervisor will coordinate housekeeping schedules, manage supplies and inventory, and address resident and institutional feedback promptly and professionally.



Collaboration with campus operations, maintenance, and front-desk teams is required to support a consistent, student-centric living environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Housekeeping expertise, including cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and room preparation.
- Candidates should possess Laundry-related skills, such as handling linens, overseeing washing and ironing processes, and maintaining inventory.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with students, institutional staff, and team members.
- Previous experience in hospitality, campus housing, or facility management is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed, and to respond to operational emergencies.
- Knowledge of basic safety protocols, sanitation practices, and use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in housekeeping or hospitality supervision is an advantage.
- Knowledge about the vaccum machine handling and ability to teach the same.
