Key Responsibilities

- Create companys supply chain strategy to align with growth plans

- Develop planning, procurement, logistics and warehousing strategies that are cost effective

- Define Capacity to meet the business plan in production unit as well factory

- Develop a system to capture Demand Forecast on a monthly basis

- Formulate plans for Purchase, Production, Despatch and Logistics on a monthly basis

- Run Sales & Operation Plan on a monthly basis and report the key findings to Sr Management

- Define key Supply Chain KPI’s related to Inventory days, Forecast accuracy, Forecast Fidelity, Availability, Freight per tonne kms etc

- Maintain optimum inventory in order to minimise the strain on working capital

- Design the warehouse footprint and logistics flow in order to optimise storage and freight cost

- Identify and develop strategic associations with key sourcing partners

- Vendor evaluation and management
- Working capital management and budgetary control

- Operate warehouses with appropriate controls and policies

- Define and maintain TAT’s for warehouse and logistics operation

- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
