Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Trading Desk to lead and manage daily trading operations across equity, derivatives, currency and commodity markets. The ideal candidate should have strong stock market knowledge, extensive client trading experience and proven leadership experience in managing advisory/dealing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Trading Operations: Manage daily dealing desk operations across equity, derivatives and other asset classes, ensuring accurate and timely trade execution.

Team Management: Lead, monitor and develop a team of approximately 30 members, ensuring productivity and performance.

Client Activation: Drive client activation, improve client engagement and resolve complex dealer/client issues.

Revenue Generation: Achieve business targets through dealer productivity, cross-selling investment products and new business initiatives.

Market Opportunities:



Identify emerging trading opportunities and conduct regular seminars and training sessions for clients and dealers.

Process Improvement: Develop and implement SOPs for advisory and dealing functions to improve operational efficiency.

Risk & Compliance: Monitor trading controls, manage escalations and coordinate with compliance, audit and regulatory teams.

Performance Monitoring: Track client trading activity and relevant performance indicators to improve client outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Graduate with NCFM qualification.

Excellent knowledge of equity, currency and commodity trading.

Strong understanding of stock markets and financial products.

Experience in trading operations and client handling.

Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.

Ability to drive revenue and improve team productivity.

Experience Required

Minimum 10 years of client trading experience with solid stock market knowledge.

3–4 years of experience as a Team Leader / Advisory Head.

Must have managed a minimum team of 20 advisors.

Experience In The Stock Broking Industry Is Preferred.
