Role & responsibilities

- Monitor furnace-wise and shift-wise production, melting cycles, output, and downtime.

- Monitor production performance against planned targets and CAPA on deviations.

- Monitor aluminium metal recovery, melting loss, dross generation, and overall metal yield.

- Implement process improvements to minimize oxidation, metal wastage, and avoidable rejections.

- Ensure correct handling and processing of aluminium scrap and secondary raw materials.

- Quality and Process control.

- Furnace operations and maintenance coordination.

- Energy and cost management.

- Manpower Management and team development.

Preferred candidate profile

- 8-12 years of relevant experience in the aluminium / steel flat rolled products industry.

- Degree or diploma in Metallurgical, Mechanical, production, or a related engineering discipline.

- Strong knowledge of aluminium smelting and furnace operating practices.

- Valuable industrial background.

- Knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma will be treated as value added.
