Role & responsibilities

Sole on-site IT owner for the Kolkata branch office user and asset lifecycle (Active Directory accounts, domain joining), desktop support, basic networking, vendor coordination, event support and SLA-based ticketing, with prompt escalation and monthly reporting to the IT Manager. Immediate joiners preferred.

- Sole in office owner of all branch IT operations.
- Employee on/offboarding asset issue and recovery, AD account creation and closure, domain joining, data backup, clearance.
- Asset register upkeep tagging, issue, return, movement, verification.
- Install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, OS and software.
- Basic networking LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, cabling, ISP links.
- Log, track and close tickets within the agreed SLA; keep users updated.
- Act on incidents promptly; escalate to the IT Manager and vendors. Vendor coordination procurement, AMC, repairs, warranty, escalations.
- Event, town hall, review and audit support AV, VC and connectivity.
- Endpoint security, antivirus, patching, policy enforcement and backups.




- Staff training; monthly IT reports — tickets, SLA, assets, open issues.

Preferred candidate profile

- Degree in Computer Science or diploma in computer applications.
- Minimum 3 years in a similar desktop support or site IT role.
- Active Directory domain environment — user account management, provisioning, and adding/removing systems from the domain.
- Hands-on with desktops, laptops, printers, Windows OS and MS Office.
- LAN and wireless networking — switches, routers, structured cabling.
- Ticketing tools, SLA-based support, and IT asset/inventory management.
- Strong hardware, software and network security troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication; able to run the site single-handedly.
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration; AV / VC support.
- Real estate or FMS exposure; firewall, CCTV, biometric access, EPABX.
- Immediate joiners preferred.***
