Role & responsibilities :

1. Field Visits & New Lead Generation

- Visit different areas across Guwahati to identify potential customers and new business opportunities.
- Regularly visit under-construction buildings, residential apartments, commercial complexes, hospitals, hotels, offices, and other establishments.
- Identify buildings where new lift or elevator installation may be required.
- Meet builders, contractors, architects, engineers, property developers, and building owners to generate potential business leads.
- Collect contact details of potential customers and decision-makers.
- Identify upcoming construction projects where lift installation may be required.

2. Existing Lift Identification & Technician Contact Collection

- Visit buildings, apartments, commercial complexes, and establishments where lifts are already installed.
- Identify existing lift installations and collect relevant information about the installed lifts.
- Collect contact numbers of lift technicians, service engineers, maintenance staff, and lift operators, with their knowledge or permission.
- Gather information about which company installed the lift and which company currently handles its maintenance.
- Collect details of the number of lifts, type of lifts, building location, and maintenance service provider wherever possible.
- Develop and maintain a database of existing lift installations and relevant industry contacts.

3. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

- Conduct market surveys across different locations in Guwahati.
- Research ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
- Identify different lift brands and companies operating in the local market.
- Visit different sites to study existing lift installations and identify potential business opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for lift modernization, replacement, repair, maintenance, and upgrading.
- Keep track of new buildings, commercial projects, and infrastructure developments.





4. Business Development & Networking

- Build professional relationships with builders, contractors, architects, technicians, engineers, and building management personnel.
- Identify potential customers who may require new lift installation or existing lift-related services.
- Generate business references through industry contacts and field networking.
- Coordinate with the company's sales team for customer meetings and site inspections.
- Follow up on generated leads and update their current status.

5. Daily Reporting & Database Management

- Maintain daily records of all field visits and locations covered.
- Submit details of newly identified construction sites and potential lift requirements.
- Maintain a database of customer contacts, technician numbers, and existing lift installations.
- Provide regular updates on leads generated and follow-up activities.
- Share relevant site photographs and basic project information wherever permitted.
- Prepare daily fieldwork reports for management.

Preferred candidate profile We are looking for someone who enjoys travelling, fieldwork, meeting new people, and exploring different locations. The candidate should have a proactive approach towards identifying business opportunities and building a solid database for the company's future growth.

Candidates with experience in field marketing, sales, lead generation, market research, or construction-related industries will be preferred. Freshers with good communication skills and a willingness to work in the field are also welcome to apply.

Additional Requirements

- Must be comfortable with extensive outdoor fieldwork across Guwahati.
- Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence are mandatory.
- Must be willing to travel to different locations and construction sites.
- Must be comfortable interacting with builders, technicians, engineers, and building owners.
- Should be capable of working independently and achieving assigned targets.
