Role & responsibilities

1. Plan, mobilise and execute school construction, renovation, structural repair and WASH projects within approved scope, budget and timelines.
2. Supervise contractors, Site Engineers and vendors; monitor daily progress, resource deployment and construction schedules.
3. Ensure technical quality and compliance with approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, safety standards and child-safeguarding requirements.
4. Verify material consumption, work measurements, contractor bills, procurement requirements and project cost variations.
5. Maintain project documentation, site reports, progress photographs, quality records and updates in Zoho Projects.
6. Coordinate with school authorities, government stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation and timely handover.
7. Identify execution risks,



resolve site-level bottlenecks and ensure proper project completion, handover and closure documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

- Proven experience managing multiple projects across locations, with ownership of cost, timelines, quality, teams and contractors.
- Experience in construction, refurbishment, fit-outs, PMC or multi-site CAPEX projects.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management; Civil Engineering preferred.
- Solid knowledge of BOQs, tendering, contracts, MEP, quality control and site safety.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and project management tools (MS Project/Zoho Projects).
- Experience leading project teams and vendors, with willingness to travel extensively across states, including rural locations.
