1. Job Objective

To design, develop, and improve pharmaceutical process equipment and systems that meet GMP, regulatory, and customer requirements while ensuring innovation, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. B. Primary responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Will be responsible for the design & development and application engineering for the business. He / she will have to comply with the systems, policies and procedures within the design function and will also be responsible for goals within the Business Unit.

C. Key Result Areas

- Developing projects using engineering principles and techniques

• Developing,



testing and evaluating theoretical designs
- Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput.
- Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing, vendors and customers
- Making sure a product can be made again reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments
- Recommending modifications following prototype test results
- Using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly mathematical modelling and computer-aided design
- Considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints while designing.
- Preparing Bill of Material
- Time, Cost & documentation control.
