Position: Duty Medical Officer (DMO)

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Department: Clinical / IVF & Fertility Care

Qualification: MBBS

Experience: Freshers and Experienced Candidates

Duty Hours: 8 / 12 Hours (As per hospital requirement)

Shift: Flexible – Day / Night / Rotational Shifts

Job Responsibilities

- Attend to patients and provide initial medical assessment.
- Monitor inpatients and patients admitted for IVF-related treatments.
- Handle routine medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall clinical condition.
- Coordinate with IVF Consultants, Gynaecologists, and other specialists.
- Assist doctors during clinical procedures whenever required.
- Evaluate patients before and after IVF-related procedures.
- Provide appropriate medical management within the scope of qualification and hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient case sheets, medical records, and treatment documentation.
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Ensure timely escalation of critical cases to the concerned consultant.
- Follow hospital infection control and patient safety protocols.





Eligibility Criteria

- MBBS qualification from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Medical Council / NMC.
- Fresh MBBS graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous hospital experience will be an added advantage.
- Good clinical knowledge and emergency management skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Duty Schedule

- 8 / 12 hours duty as per hospital policy.
- Flexible shift allocation.
- Day / Night / Rotational shifts.
- Weekly off as per hospital policy.
