Role Description The Doctoral Student role is a full-time, on-site position based at the BITS campus in Jaipur. The individual will conduct original research under faculty supervision, perform literature reviews, design and implement experiments or studies, and analyze quantitative or qualitative data. Daily responsibilities include working in laboratories or research environments, collaborating with research groups, attending seminars, and contributing to departmental academic activities.





The role also involves preparing manuscripts, conference papers, and presentations, assisting in teaching or mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students when required, and supporting grant proposals or project documentation.

Doctoral

Students are expected to maintain steady progress toward dissertation completion and actively engage with the broader research community.

Qualifications

- Strong research aptitude, including literature review, experimental or theoretical design, and data analysis skills.
- Academic writing and communication skills for preparing research papers, theses, and presentations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary research teams.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to handle coursework, research tasks, and deadlines.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with a robust academic record; prior research experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with relevant analytical tools, software, or laboratory techniques in the candidate’s field of study.
- Commitment to ethical research practices and continuous learning.
- Proficiency in English for academic and professional communication.
