Role Description

We are looking for enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering freshers to join our Design & Development team.

As a Design Engineer, you will work on the design and development of industrial machines, mechanical mechanisms and components. You will be involved in engineering calculations, 3D modelling, manufacturing drawings, component selection and design validation.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and our manufacturing team to understand how machines are designed, manufactured, assembled and tested.

This role focuses on developing strong engineering and analytical skills, not just CAD modelling.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform basic engineering calculations involving forces, loads, stress, torque, power and deflection.
- Support the design of machine components such as shafts, bearings, gears, frames and mechanical mechanisms.
- Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Assist in motor, gearbox,



bearing and material selection based on engineering requirements.
- Apply basic GD&T;, fits and tolerances in engineering drawings.
- Prepare BOMs and technical documentation.
- Understand Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA) principles.
- Coordinate with CNC machining, fabrication, welding and assembly teams.
- Participate in design reviews, prototype development, machine assembly and testing.
- Support troubleshooting and continuous design improvements.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

- BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related disciplines.
- Strong fundamentals in Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Theory of Machines and Machine Design.
- Good understanding of engineering calculations, including forces, moments, stress, bending, torsion and torque.
- Basic knowledge of machine elements such as shafts, bearings, gears, fasteners and mechanical joints.
- Familiarity with any 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks/Creo.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, fits and tolerances.
- Awareness of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication and welding.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Candidates with solid engineering fundamentals and calculation skills will be preferred. Prior industry experience is not mandatory.
