Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dentist role based at the NURA center in Chennai. The Dentist will conduct comprehensive oral examinations, diagnose dental and oral health conditions, and provide preventive and restorative treatments such as cleanings, fillings, and other standard procedures. The role includes educating patients on oral hygiene, lifestyle risk factors, and the importance of regular screening in the context of NURA’s preventive health model.

The Dentist will collaborate with medical and imaging teams to integrate dental findings into overall health assessments,



maintain accurate clinical records, and follow established clinical protocols.

Responsibilities also include adhering to infection control standards, ensuring a safe patient environment, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Valid BDS or MDS degree from a recognized institution, with current registration with the appropriate dental council.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical dentistry, including diagnosis, preventive care, and routine restorative procedures.
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills, with the ability to explain conditions, treatments, and preventive measures clearly.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, attention to detail in clinical documentation, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary screening center, openness to technology-enabled workflows, and willingness to follow standardized clinical pathways.
- Experience in preventive or community dentistry, or prior work in a hospital or diagnostic center setting, is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a rapid-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and a focus on patient-centered care.
