Key Responsibilities:

- Administer DB2 databases, including configuration, upgrades, patching and maintenance.
- Manage database objects, tablespaces, indexes and stored procedures.
- Perform SQL operations (DDL, DML and DCL).
- Handle DB2 performance tuning, indexing and statistics management.
- Execute REORG, RUNSTATS, backup and recovery activities.
- Support disaster recovery, recovery testing and high availability.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot database issues.
- Monitor database environments using DB2 monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Mandatory Skills:

- Hands-on experience in Mainframe DB2 (z/OS) DBA.
- Robust knowledge of JCL and SQL.
- Experience with DB2 utilities: REORG, RUNSTATS, COPY, RECOVER, LOAD and UNLOAD.




- Performance tuning, backup and recovery.
- Hands-on exposure to BMC MainView and File-AID.
- Disaster recovery and production support experience.
- Strong RDBMS and database administration concepts.
- Master's degree or postgraduate qualification.

Good to Have:

- DB2 migration and conversion experience.
- Capacity planning and automation.
- High availability and root-cause analysis.
