Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design and build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines, integrations, and robust data models to support rapidly growing data volumes and feed downstream BI, reporting, and analytics tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years in hands-on data engineering roles.
- Core Technical Skills:
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Advanced SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Hands-on expertise with big data frameworks, specifically Apache Spark and Databricks (Hadoop familiarity is a plus).
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and up-to-date data warehouses/lakehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
- Deep understanding of data modeling, schema design, and ETL/ELT integration patterns.
- Soft Skills: Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and excellent team communication and stakeholder-management skills.
