Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Engineer role based in Hyderabad.

The Data

Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support business applications, analytics, and reporting across Hypersoft’s product and service portfolio.

Responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL processes, implementing robust data models, and supporting data warehousing solutions for various domains such as financial systems, ERP, and BPO operations.



The role involves collaborating with software development, business analysis, and operations teams to understand data requirements, ensure data quality, and enable reliable, secure data access.

The Data

Engineer will also monitor data infrastructure performance, troubleshoot data-related issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of data architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Data Engineering skills, including building scalable data pipelines and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Candidates should possess Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills to design efficient schemas and manage structured data repositories.
- Candidates should possess Extract Transform Load (ETL) skills to develop, optimize, and schedule reliable data workflows.
- Candidates should possess Data Analytics skills to support reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python or Java).
- Experience with Azure Databricks, Data Factory.
- Experience with relational databases and, ideally, modern data platforms or big data tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to data quality and security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in domains such as financial services, ERP, or BPO operations is an advantage.
