Role Description The Data Analyst Intern will support data-driven decision-making across ClimaCrew’s seaweed value chain in a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from internal systems and external sources, and performing basic statistical and analytical assessments to identify trends and patterns. The intern will assist in building and maintaining simple data models and dashboards that help teams understand supply, demand, and operational performance.

The role also involves preparing clear reports and visualizations for cross-functional stakeholders, collaborating with different teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations, and documenting methods and findings to support ongoing projects.

Role and Responsibilities

· Coordinating with Site Teams on a Day-to-Day Basis: Collaboration with different teams is crucial for data collection, understanding requirements, and maintaining effective communication.

·Converting Data into a Standardized Format: Creating Google Forms and ensuring data is transformed into a standardized format demonstrates a focus on data consistency and structure.





· Developing and Maintaining a Database: Storing data in a PostgreSQL database showcases the ability to manage and maintain a database efficiently.

·Performing Data Cleansing and Validation: Preprocessing raw data, handling missing values, and ensuring data quality through cleansing and validation are essential steps to guarantee accurate and reliable datasets.

· Analyzing Large Amounts of Information: Conducting in-depth descriptive and productive analysis, applying statistical techniques, and utilizing machine-learning algorithms align with the core analytical responsibilities for both GIS and non-GIS applications.

· Visualizing Data: Transforming data into actionable insights through the creation of visual representations, and dashboards using tools like Power BI, and preparing comprehensive reports for management highlights the communication of findings in a clear and understandable manner.

·Forecasting & Predictive Analytics: By leveraging historical data, analyzing statistical patterns and machine learning models to derive complex models that provides valuable predictions about future outcomes. This process aids the organization in making well-informed and strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Computer Engineering.

· Certification in Data Science and Data Analyst course.

· Previous internship experience in Data Science and Data Analyst.

Abilities:

· Proficient in using database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL for effective querying and data manipulation.

· Skilled in utilizing data visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, or matplotlib/seaborn in Python.

· Proficiency in Python.

· Data Science Skills: Expertise in statistical analysis, data preprocessing, and analysis, and proficiency in machine learning algorithms (both supervised and unsupervised learning) and feature engineering.

·Knowledge of AWS and GCP.
