Knowledge of components (Lighting,Stamping, BIW, Interior/Exterior, HVAC , Trims). Experience with Tier1 is required.

Roles and Responsibility

Control the cost and optimize the technical specifications of the parts in the commodity

Develop, create & update particular commoditys techno economical database for the costing tools.

Sustain & develop a good level of cross functional and cultural relationship with all customers.

Costing and reporting for Battery Commodity parts based on Milestones of each Project ( Bottom costing,

RFQ, COST, F4, IP/PB )

Responsible to follow Costing guide line and Ref. data & support to Update CGL

Capitalization of product and process data pertaining to the Commodity ( SQ, Infosite, Cost reports etc)

To give proposals for cost reduction opportunities in the parts manufacturing processes.

Challenge the suppliers / Stakeholder with proper technical and economic background explanations.

Visit Supplier and collect Required Costing informations and identify opportunities for the cost reduction improvements.

Support Digital Transformation of Process and Operations

Current process improvement and solution for upstream projects..
