Ink Orbit is a new-age trade publishing company located in Gurugram. We publish eBooks, audiobooks, and print editions. We're looking for a Copyeditor & Ghostwriter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Proofread and copyedit manuscripts using tools
- Ghostwrite and rewrite content based on authors' ideas, voice notes, interviews, and drafts
- Structure chapters and improve content flow while preserving the author's voice
- Curate and compile public domain content (e.g., folktales, historical classics)
- Structure and theme short story collections and anthologies
- Write blurbs, metadata, keywords, and summaries for platforms like Amazon Kindle
- Work closely with our design team to ensure aesthetic and editorial consistency

What you need:





- Robust command of written English
- Good writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to turn ideas and rough drafts into well-structured content
- Editorial instinct — you notice what doesn't read right
- Curiosity for books, literature, and meaningful stories
- Eagerness to learn publishing tools and workflows
