Job brief

We are seeking a professional, knowledgeable, and patient-focused Gastroenterologist to join our team! The candidate will have a wealth of experience diagnosing and treating stomach and intestinal disorders and diseases and be adept at advising and treating patients with those issues. The role's key focus will be to investigate, diagnose, treat and research stomach and intestinal-based diseases and support patients through their journey to wellness, or to learn to live with lifelong conditions.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and treat GI disorders, including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive issues.

- Provide advice and support on diet and nutrition changes to patients and refer them to relevant dietitians as required.

- Perform investigative endoscopic procedures, such as ERCPs, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, upper endoscopies, gastroscopies, and barium swallows.

- Conduct research to advance knowledge about gastrointestinal diseases, treatments,



and industry best practices.

- Prescribe medication to treat digestive disorders.

- Refer patients to other medical professionals and specialists if further diagnostic testing or treatment is required.

- Provide medical care to patients with chronic and long-standing diseases, such as diabetes or hypertension, to help manage symptoms and prevent complications.

Requirements

- MBBS/MD(General Medicine/ Internal Medicine) with DM / DNB(Medical Gastro)

- TNMC Registration.

- 3 to 5 Years of clinical experience.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills

- Empathetic and caring in nature

- Proficient with the use of EMR systems

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
