Role & responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food according to recipes and standards.
- Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, peeling, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.
- Support Chef de Partie and senior chefs during service hours.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
- Perform any other kitchen duties assigned by senior chefs.
