VEEYA is a fitness technology startup developing Mixed Reality (MR) glasses and AI-powered software to transform the indoor running experience. The platform combines immersive environments, personalized running coaching, weekly adaptive training plans, and community-driven fitness experiences to make treadmill running more engaging and effective. VEEYA focuses on integrating its hardware and software into existing gym infrastructure, making advanced fitness technology accessible to a wider audience.

Initially focused on indoor running, the company aims to expand into broader fitness applications. VEEYA is incubated by the Indian School of Business (ISB) and supported by T-Works, Hyderabad. As an emerging fitness technology venture, VEEYA offers opportunities for co-founders to shape product strategy, manufacturing, technology partnerships, and business growth from an early stage.

Role Description:

The Co-Founder with Investment at VEEYA will play a strategic and leadership role in developing and scaling the company's hardware and software ecosystem. This is a hybrid role based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home. Day-to-day responsibilities may include guiding product development, advising on hardware architecture and manufacturing strategies, building and leading technical teams, and identifying suitable manufacturing and technology partners.

The role involves overseeing engineering and production processes, coordinating with external development teams, and ensuring alignment between technical execution and business objectives.



Direct involvement in engineering or manufacturing is not mandatory, provided the individual has the expertise to advise, lead, and manage the relevant teams effectively. The Co-Founder will also contribute to business strategy, strategic partnerships, fundraising, operational planning, and long-term growth.

Qualifications:

- Experience or strong industry knowledge in hardware manufacturing, consumer electronics, wearable technology, AR, VR, or Mixed Reality.
- Background in technical leadership, product development, engineering management, manufacturing operations, or strategic advisory roles.
- Ability to build, lead, or advise technical teams responsible for hardware development, prototyping, manufacturing, and product commercialization.
- Understanding of hardware architecture, manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and production scalability.
- Experience working with OEMs, ODMs, technology suppliers, engineering teams, or manufacturing partners would be advantageous.
- Solid business and financial acumen, including familiarity with hardware unit economics, budgeting, business models, and startup growth strategies.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills for managing teams, external partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Ability to contribute strategically to an early-stage venture, take ownership of key decisions, and collaborate effectively with the founding team.
- Prior entrepreneurship, senior management, technical leadership, or advisory experience is highly beneficial; an engineering degree, MBA, or relevant industry experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
