Job Title: Civil - Draftsman

Retail Design & Projects

Location -: Mumbai.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality drawings for retail store layouts, interior fit-outs, MEP coordination, and construction detailing. This role requires close collaboration with architects, project managers, and vendors to ensure timely and precise design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings, layout plans, and working drawings for new store openings, Factories, renovations, and refurbishments.
- Draft floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, and detailed sections using AutoCAD (or equivalent software).
- Support the design team in creating Civil/MEP coordination drawings (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) as per site conditions and vendor inputs.
- Incorporate branding, signage, and retail display elements into design documentation.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from the design and project management teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards, local building codes, and technical specifications.
- Maintain and manage drawing archives, version control, and proper documentation.
- Visit sites for survey and measurement when required.




- Coordinate with external consultants and vendors for drawing approvals and clarifications.
- Preparation of BOQs.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or relevant drafting discipline.
- 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in retail or commercial interior projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or Photoshop is a plus.
- Understanding of construction details, joinery, and fit-out materials.
- Familiarity with design elements and spatial planning is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
