We are currently hiring for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) position with a company operating in the NBFC – Gold Loan sector.

Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Industry: NBFC – Gold Loan

Location: Head Office, Surat, Gujarat

Experience: 12+

Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and strengthening the company's branch and central operations, ensuring operational efficiency, robust controls, regulatory compliance, and supporting business expansion across its gold loan network.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage multi-branch gold loan operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Oversee gold appraisal processes, collateral custody, vault security, cash management, and loan servicing.
- Ensure adherence to operational policies, KYC procedures, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
- Manage branch performance, operational risks, audits, and incident resolution.
- Lead operational teams, vendor management, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support branch expansion, lending system implementation, and new product initiatives,



including Loan Against Property (LAP).

Candidate Requirements:

- Proven leadership experience in multi-branch gold loan operations, preferably with an NBFC.
- Strong hands-on experience in gold appraisal controls, collateral management, vault security, and branch operations.
- Expertise in operational risk management, audit management, and team leadership.
- Graduate degree is mandatory; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Willingness to work from the Surat Head Office and travel extensively across branches.

Additional Information:

- Candidates with direct gold loan NBFC operations experience will be given preference.
- Relocation support/arrangements for candidates based outside Gujarat can be discussed during the selection process.
