A Cardiology Technician is responsible for performing cardiac diagnostic investigations, operating cardiology equipment, assisting doctors and ensuring accurate test recordings and patient care.

1. Key Job Responsibilities

- Perform ECG (Electrocardiogram) tests accurately.
- Conduct TMT (Treadmill Test) under the supervision of a cardiologist.
- Assist doctors during 2D Echo examinations.
- Prepare patients for cardiac investigations.
- Monitor patient BP, pulse rate and ECG during tests.
- Operate and maintain ECG, TMT and Echo equipment.
- Ensure proper electrode placement and accurate recordings.
- Maintain patient test records and documentation.
- Coordinate with cardiologists for reporting and pending cases.
- Follow infection-control procedures and maintain equipment cleanliness.

1. Daily Responsibilities

- Check cardiology equipment before starting work.
- Verify patient details before every investigation.
- Perform ECG and TMT as per doctor instructions.
- Assist the cardiologist during 2D Echo.
- Monitor patients throughout cardiac procedures.
- Maintain daily test registers.
- Follow up on pending reports.
- Ensure timely completion of investigations.

1. Significant Instructions

- Never perform investigations beyond your training and authorization.
- TMT must be conducted with appropriate medical supervision and emergency support.
- Immediately inform the doctor if a patient develops chest pain, breathlessness, dizziness or abnormal symptoms.
- Never alter ECG or TMT findings.
- Ensure patient safety and privacy at all times.

Main Objective To provide accurate cardiac investigations, ensure patient safety, maintain equipment quality and complete all cardiology tests within the prescribed TAT. Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
