Role Description This is a full time, on-site Bodyshop Insurance Manager role based in Mumbai.

The Bodyshop Insurance

Manager will oversee all insurance-related activities for the bodyshop, including coordinating accident repair claims, liaising with insurance companies and surveyors, and ensuring accurate documentation and approvals. The role involves reviewing estimates, monitoring repair status, and managing claim submission, follow-up, and settlement to ensure timely payments.

Manager will work closely with service advisors, technicians, and customers to maintain transparent communication, manage customer expectations,



and support high levels of satisfaction. The position also includes maintaining compliance with insurer guidelines, tracking KPIs, and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of motor insurance processes, claim handling, and bodyshop operations, with experience in coordinating accident repair claims.
- Proficiency in documentation, report preparation, and use of dealership or workshop management systems for tracking claims and repairs.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for interacting with customers, insurance representatives, surveyors, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, analytical ability for estimate and invoice verification, and capability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Prior experience in automotive workshops, dealer bodyshops, or insurance claim management is highly preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Graduate degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Business, Insurance, or a related field is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Indian motor insurance regulations, insurer portals, and standard industry practices is an advantage.
