Bodyshop Advisor
1. Job Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Job Purpose To manage customer requirements related to accidental vehicle repairs, coordinate vehicle inspection and damage assessment, prepare repair estimates, obtain customer approvals, and ensure timely delivery of vehicles with the highest standards of repair quality and customer satisfaction.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Attend customers visiting the bodyshop for accidental vehicle repairs and other body-related complaints.
- Understand customer requirements and explain the repair process.
- Conduct preliminary vehicle inspections and identify visible damages.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates, including labour, painting and spare parts costs.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors for claim approvals.
- Prepare and maintain job cards, repair orders and customer documentation.
- Follow up with customers regarding repair approvals and vehicle status.
- Coordinate with bodyshop technicians, denters, painters and workshop teams.
- Ensure timely completion of repair jobs as per committed delivery schedules.
- Monitor repair progress and update customers regularly.
- Ensure proper quality inspection before vehicle delivery.
- Explain repair work, replaced parts and billing details to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues.
- Maintain customer records and ensure proper documentation.
- Achieve bodyshop revenue, labour sales and customer satisfaction targets.

1. Educational Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Diploma / ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of automobile body structures and repair processes preferred.

1. Experience Required





- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in an automobile bodyshop.
- Experience in an authorised automobile dealership preferred.
- Experience in accidental vehicle estimation and insurance claim processing.
- Knowledge of denting, painting and vehicle body repair procedures.

- Knowledge of vehicle body parts and accidental damage assessment.
- Expertise in repair estimation and job card preparation.
- Knowledge of insurance claim procedures and surveyor coordination.
- Understanding of denting, painting and mechanical repair processes.
- Basic knowledge of DMS and automobile workshop software.
- Customer handling and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
