Hiring: Blue Yonder TMS Consultant – Optimization & Modeling
Do you know Blue Yonder (JDA) TMS optimization inside out? Join Savintosh’s TMS managed-services team supporting the global logistics operations of a global customer.
What you’ll do
- Drive transportation planning and optimization in Blue Yonder TMS: consolidation, routing, mode and equipment selection, and carrier assignment.
- Use Transportation Modeling (TMOD) to run what-if scenarios and improve plan quality and cost.
- Find out why loads the optimizer can’t plan, and recommend configuration and/or strategy/parameter improvements.
- Validate and test changes with the client’s TMS support team, in line with its logistics strategy.
- Guide the planning team on planning logic, and share know-how across the team.
Must have
- 6+ years of hands-on Blue Yonder TMS functional experience, with strong exposure to planning and optimization.
- Excellent knowledge of TMOD, rates and tariffs,
carriers and lanes.
- SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Clear communication with global business and IT stakeholders.
Valuable to have
- Job Server, User Training, or execution / visibility experience.
- High-tech or manufacturing logistics background.
- Blue Yonder certification.
