Location: Delhi
We are looking for an experienced BIW Design Engineer with strong expertise in automotive body structure design and development.
Key Requirements:
1. Hands-on experience in BIW structure development, including underbody, side body, roof, front/rear structures, doors, and closures.
2. Robust knowledge of automotive sheet metal design, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and dimensional engineering.
3. Good understanding of DFM, DFA, DFS, tooling, stamping, welding, and joining processes.
4. Experience in CAD modelling and design release, preferably using CATIA V5, with knowledge of CAE coordination for crash, durability, and NVH.
5. Experience in cross-functional coordination with CAE, manufacturing, tooling, quality, suppliers, and vehicle integration teams.
Preferred: Experience in production vehicle development and BIW manufacturing processes
