Role Summary

We are seeking an autonomous Application Engineer to develop scalable, high-performance

SaaS UIs for our clinical trial design platform. Working with cross-functional teams, you will translate requirements into intuitive user experiences, investigate full-stack application behavior across REST/GraphQL APIs and .NET/Ruby microservices, optimize performance, and troubleshoot complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop reusable UI components with React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

● Integrate UIs with REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless data exchange.

● Partner with UX/UI designers to convert designs into accessible interfaces.

● Debug frontend issues using dev tools, network payloads, logs, and backend responses.

● Write unit, integration, and E2E tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.

● Use AI development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, documentation, and testing safely.

● Participate in code reviews and define frontend best practices.

● Collaborate independently across distributed US and IST engineering teams.

● Identify technical risks, resolve blockers, and improve application architecture.

Requirements & Qualifications

● Experience:



3+ years in frontend development, emphasizing React.js and contemporary web apps.

● React Expertise: Strong proficiency in React.js, functional components, Hooks,

lifecycles, and modular architecture.

● JavaScript & TypeScript: Deep knowledge of ES6+, TypeScript, and async programming.

● State Management: Experience with Redux Toolkit or similar state libraries.

● Web Technologies: Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design,

accessibility, and modern CSS frameworks.

● API Integration: Proficiency with REST and GraphQL APIs; familiarity with C# or Ruby microservices.

● Troubleshooting: Skilled in diagnosing UI defects, performance issues, and API failures using dev tools.

● Testing & Quality: Hands-on unit/integration testing experience (Jest, React Testing

Library) and E2E tools (Cypress, Playwright).

● AI-Assisted Development: Ability to critically evaluate and use AI coding tools for efficiency.

● Autonomy & Communication: Strong problem-solving and communication skills for working across US/IST time zones.
