Job Summary

The Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer is responsible for 24/7 monitoring, fault detection, incident management, and service assurance of network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance as per defined SLAs.

Responsibilities

- Monitor network, servers, and applications using NMS/EMS tools
- Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve network alarms and incidents
- Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting for network, transmission, and service issues
- Raise, update, and manage trouble tickets with internal teams and vendors
- Escalate incidents as per defined escalation matrix
- Coordinate with field teams, OEMs, and service providers
- Track SLA/KPI compliance and ensure timely resolution
- Perform routine health checks and preventive maintenance
- Prepare incident reports, RCA inputs, and shift handover notes
- Support change activities and maintenance windows

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science
- Knowledge of telecom networks (2G/3G/4G/5G preferred)
