- Workflow Management:

Schedule daily shift tasks, balance assembly-line workloads, and adjust manpower to hit target delivery dates.

- Fabrication &

- Assembly Oversight:

Supervise the fitting, tacking, welding, mechanical fastening, and final assembly of fabricated components.

- Blueprint &

- Technical Compliance:

Ensure workers interpret engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and work instructions accurately.

- Quality Control &

- Inspection:

Monitor first-piece and in-process inspections to catch alignment errors, structural defects, or weld issues early.

- Team Leadership &

- Training:

Coach shop-floor personnel, manage attendance and discipline, and train workers on equipment handling and safety protocols.

- Safety &

- Environment:

Enforce OSHA or regional plant safety rules, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and crane/rigging safety.

- Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean manufacturing, 5S, and root-cause problem-solving to reduce scrap and improve line efficiency. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10]

Required Qualifications &

- Skills

- Education:



High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational certification or associate degree in mechanical/manufacturing technology preferred. [1, 2, 3]

- Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience as an assembler, fabricator, or welder, plus 2+ years in a supervisory or team-lead role. [1]

- Technical Skills:

- Ability to read and interpret complex structural blueprints, CAD drawings, and weld symbols.

- Familiarity with shop tools, overhead cranes, pneumatic/power tools, and welding/fabrication machinery. [1, 2]

- Soft &
- Management Skills:

Strong leadership, conflict resolution, time management, and transparent communication on the factory floor. [1, 2]
